Cabin.coach is a seat intelligence tool. We collect the minimum data needed to run the service and never sell your information to third parties.

1. Who We Are

Cabin.coach (“Cabin”, “we”, “us”) is an AI-powered flight seat intelligence platform. We help travelers research aircraft seats before booking. Our website is cabin.coach.

2. Information We Collect

When you create an account: We collect your email address and name via Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password.

When you use the chat:We log the number of searches you make each month to enforce plan limits. We do not store the content of your queries or Cabin’s responses.

Automatically: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) are collected by our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Supabase). These are used for security and debugging only and are not linked to your account.

Guest usage:If you use Cabin without signing in, we store a session-level search count in your browser’s local storage only. Nothing is sent to our servers for guest sessions.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the Cabin service
  • To enforce free and paid plan search limits
  • To send transactional emails (account creation, plan changes) - no marketing without consent
  • To detect and prevent abuse or fraud
  • To improve the service (aggregated, anonymised analytics only)

4. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following providers to operate the service:

  • Supabase - database and authentication (stores your email and usage counts). Privacy policy
  • Anthropic (Claude AI)- processes your search query to generate answers. Queries are not used to train Anthropic’s models under our API agreement. Privacy policy
  • Voyage AI - converts your query into a vector embedding for search. Queries are not stored or used for training. Privacy policy
  • Vercel - hosts the Cabin backend. Standard server logs apply. Privacy policy
  • Google OAuth - used for sign-in only. We receive your email and name; we do not access any other Google data. Privacy policy

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Retention

Your account data (email, name, usage counts) is retained while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

6. Cookies

Cabin uses cookies only for authentication (session tokens set by Supabase Auth). We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@cabin.coach. We will respond within 30 days.

EU/EEA residents have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Children

Cabin is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or a notice on the site at least 14 days before they take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
